Description The Linux kernel contains an issue related to the blocker tracking mechanism, which assumes 4-byte alignment of lock pointers. Some architectures, like m68k, only guarantee 2-byte alignment for 32-bit values. This discrepancy causes warnings during runtime checks. The issue is addressed by adjusting the runtime checks to ignore locks that are not 4-byte aligned, effectively disabling the feature on architectures with insufficient alignment and preventing the warnings.
