Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A resource leak exists in the Linux kernel related to the wusb3801 probe function. Specifically, a reference count leak can occur within wusb3801 probe() if wusb3801 hw init() fails. This leak involves the fwnode handle put() function not being called, leading to an unbalanced reference count for the overlay node '/i2c/tcpc@60/connector'. The error report indicates an expected refcount of 1 but observed a count of 4.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
