Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak was identified and resolved in the Linux kernel related to the ThinkStation WMI strings parsing within the platform/x86/think-lmi module. A previously introduced commit resulted in memory not being freed after allocation from tlmi setting, leading to the leak. The variable name was also changed to avoid confusion with a similarly named variable within the same function.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
