Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to BPF (Berkeley Packet Filter) functionality. Specifically, the issue concerns preventing a decl tag from being referenced within a function prototype argument. This was identified through Syzkaller testing, impacting functions such as btf func proto check, btf check all types, btf parse type sec, btf parse, btf new fd, bpf btf load, sys bpf, and do sys bpf. The issue appears similar to a previously addressed problem, but affects the function argument instead of the function prototype itself.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
