Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A deadlock in the ath11k driver for Atheros/Qualcomm wireless adapters causes a failure to flush management frames. This occurs because the
wmi mgmt tx work function cannot execute within the required timeframe, leading to a state where the system cannot clear the management transmit queue. This synchronization error in the ath11k mac mgmt tx() function within the drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath11k/mac.c module can be exploited to cause a denial of service.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
