Description A use-after-free issue exists in the mt7921 stop() function within the drivers/net/wireless/mediatek/mt76/mt7921/main.c module of the Mediatek wireless adapter driver. This occurs when the network interface card (NIC) fails to start and the reset work has already been scheduled; if the cleanup process is called before the work item executes, it can lead to a system crash. Exploitation of this issue may impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information.
