Description A use-after-free issue exists in the BFQ scheduler of the Linux kernel. The problem occurs within the bfq bfqq move() function in the block/bfq-cgroup.c module, where memory that has already been freed is reused. This can be triggered during the execution of the bfq put async bfqq() function. Exploitation of this issue may allow an attacker to crash the system or impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
