Description An issue exists in the MediaTek vcodec driver where the kernel can crash during the removal of the mtk-vcodec-dec.ko module. When the driver is operating in subdev mode, the dev->pm.dev parameter becomes NULL within the mtk vcodec dec remove() function, leading to a system crash when the module is removed via rmmod.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
