Description
A logic issue exists in the kernel mode layer where memory permissions are not preserved, allowing an unprivileged user to write to read-only memory. This flaw, referred to as Dirty UVM, can be used to achieve local privilege escalation (LPE) or container escape in NVIDIA GPU environments. Potential impacts include code execution, denial of service, information disclosure, and data tampering.
