Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Arista Wi-Fi access points (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory corruption issue exists in the wired uplink network endpoints of the access point. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker located on the same network segment as the wired uplink to crash the sensor service or potentially achieve remote code execution. The issue is characterized as a stack-based buffer overflow, which occurs when a program writes more data to a buffer located on the stack than the buffer is allocated to hold, potentially overwriting adjacent memory.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
