Description
A buffer overrun exists in the TDS (Microsoft SQL Server) PRELOGIN packet decoder. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted TDS PRELOGIN packet to a network monitored by an IBM Guardium Collector, which may lead to a denial of service or the potential execution of arbitrary code on the Collector appliance.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
