Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Furion .NET Framework versions prior to 4.9.9.93
Description A SQL injection issue exists where manipulating the Name argument within the String.Replace() function in the framework/Furion/Templates/Extensions/StringRenderExtensions.cs file allows for remote exploitation. SQL injection is a technique where malicious SQL statements are inserted into entry fields for execution, potentially allowing unauthorized access to the database.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of the String.Replace() function in the framework/Furion/Templates/Extensions/StringRenderExtensions.cs file.
