Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
databasement versions prior to 1.8.2
Description
An authenticated user can achieve remote code execution by specifying a database name that is passed to system commands such as
mariadb-dump. While quoting prevents direct OS command injection, argument injection allows an attacker to use flags like --result-file to write arbitrary files to the server, such as /app/public/index.php, leading to indirect code execution.Recommendations
Update databasement to version 1.8.2 or later.
