VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Xorbits Xoscar versions prior to 0.11.2
Description An unauthenticated deserialization flaw exists in the actor-pool TCP channels. Remote attackers can execute arbitrary code with root privileges on GPU nodes by sending crafted data. The issue occurs when SocketChannel.recv() passes unvalidated data to cloudpickle.loads(), triggering the execution of a pickle reduce gadget before the message type is validated.
Recommendations Update Xorbits Xoscar to a version newer than 0.11.2.
