Description
A soft lockup occurs in the
atl1c driver when the hardware reports an out-of-range tpd cons value (0xffff) during a PCIe link or MAC reset. This causes the atl1c clean tx() function to enter an infinite loop because the out-of-range value can never be reached, leading to a system hang. This issue was observed on systems using the Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 v2.0 NIC.Recommendations
Update the Linux kernel to version 7.0.14-11-pve or newer.
