Description
The
POST /{owner}/{repo}/topics endpoint was registered without the sign-in middleware required for cross-origin protection. This allows requests from third-party sites to be processed without being rejected. Consequently, a repository administrator visiting a malicious page could have the topics of their repository modified. Increased actor activity targeting this issue has been observed.Recommendations
