Description A use-after-free issue exists in the gf filter pid get packet() function within the filter core/filter pid.c file. This occurs when the software processes a specially crafted file, which can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS). Use-after-free is a memory corruption flaw where an application continues to use a pointer after it has been freed.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
