Description
The application fails to verify the URL allowlist when parsing the
io.element.call:// scheme. An attacker can trick a user into opening a specially crafted URL to load a malicious origin within the call screen's WKWebView. This allows the attacker-controlled origin to access the device microphone and camera, provided the user had previously granted these permissions to the application.Recommendations
