Description A flaw exists in the Snort 3 Teredo Detection Engine due to incomplete error checking during the parsing of Teredo packets. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted Teredo packet to a targeted device. This action causes the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart unexpectedly, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) condition and the interruption of packet inspection.
