Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Crow versions prior to 1.3.4
Description An uncontrolled recursion issue exists in the crow::json::load() function. Remote unauthenticated attackers can cause a server crash by submitting a request body containing deeply nested JSON objects. This process exhausts the worker thread stack, which terminates the process and drops all active connections.
Recommendations Update to version 1.3.4 or later. As a temporary mitigation, restrict the use of the crow::json::load() function or implement limits on JSON nesting depth.
