Description
A stack-based buffer overflow exists in the
prh sdp service search decode() function. This occurs because the system fails to properly validate the length of user-supplied data before copying it to a stack-based buffer. A network-adjacent attacker who successfully pairs a malicious Bluetooth device with the target system can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary code with root privileges.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
