Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Ultralytics (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw in the
parse model() function allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. This occurs because the software fails to properly validate a user-supplied string before using it to execute Python code. Exploitation requires user interaction, such as visiting a malicious page or opening a malicious file.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the
parse model() function to trusted inputs only. Found an issue in the description? Have something to add? Feel free to write us 👾
