Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux Kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the keys/trusted keys component where the trusted tpm unseal() function fails to return immediately after a TPM unseal operation failure. Instead, it proceeds to call pcrlock(). If pcrlock() succeeds, its return value overwrites the initial unseal error, which incorrectly allows key instantiation to succeed.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
