Description
An out-of-bounds memory access issue exists in the N2 SCTP interface. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger a denial of service (DoS) by repeatedly establishing SCTP associations. This occurs because of improper file descriptor bounds checking during the
FD SET() operation, which leads to a process crash. This issue has been exploited in real-world incidents.Recommendations
