Description A stack buffer overflow occurs in the GDB client's remote protocol handler. This issue allows a debug target controlled by an attacker to execute arbitrary code within the GDB process. The flaw is located in the fetch register using p() function, which decodes a stub's register reply into an alloca-sized buffer without bounding writes by the register width.
