Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw related to the qla2xxx SCSI driver. A system crash can occur during a load/unload test loop when a module unload is issued while a fabric scan is in progress. The root cause is a memory free operation occurring in interrupt context. Specifically, a free operation (dma free attrs) was attempted within an interrupt handler while a device discovery/fabric scan was active. The issue arises when the UNLOADING flag is set during the discovery process, leading to a crash when mapped memory is freed in the interrupt context.
