Description
An improper check for unusual or exceptional conditions occurs when communicating over the Modbus TCP protocol. This issue may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code, cause a denial of service, and compromise the confidentiality and integrity of protected information.
Recommendations
Update SCADAPack RTUs to R3.4.2 (firmware 9.12.2).
Implement network segmentation.
Use an RTU firewall.
