Description Issues in the Snort 3 VBA feature allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash the Snort 3 Detection Engine. This occurs due to improper error checking during the decompression of VBA data. An attacker can trigger this by sending specially crafted VBA data to the engine, leading to an unexpected restart and a Denial of Service (DoS) condition.
