Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the net/hsr subsystem, specifically within the prp get untagged frame() function. This function calls pskb copy() to allocate memory for frame->skb std, but lacks a check to verify if the allocation was successful. If pskb copy() fails and returns NULL, the code proceeds to call skb clone() with a NULL pointer, leading to a general protection fault and a system crash. This issue can occur during the handling of HSR (High-availability Seamless Redundancy) frames.
