Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw within the F2FS filesystem related to extent cache management. Specifically, the issue involves the potential addition of a zero-sized extent into the extent cache during an error path in the f2fs zero range() function. This can lead to an invalid opcode and a kernel bug, as reported by syzbot. The update extent tree range() function is implicated in the error. The issue occurs when updating the extent tree range.
