Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to ethernet functionality within the mtk eth soc module. Specifically, the issue concerns the handling of the eBPF program pointer during the mtk xdp setup() routine. If the mtk open routine within mtk xdp setup() fails, the eBPF program pointer is not correctly reset to its previous value, and its reference count is not decremented. This can lead to issues with eBPF program management.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
