Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains an issue within the drm/tilcdc subsystem related to device removal actions during probe failures. The drm kms helper poll fini() and drm atomic helper shutdown() functions were being called unconditionally in tilcdc fini(), even when the device had not been successfully registered, leading to warnings. The issue has been addressed by restructuring the failed probe cleanup path using a standard error handling pattern, ensuring cleanup functions are only invoked for successfully initialized resources. The is registered flag was also removed as it became unnecessary.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
