Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to memory management within the btrfs uring read extent() function. Specifically, the pages object may not be freed under certain error conditions, potentially leading to memory leaks. This occurs when allocations fail or when btrfs encoded read regular fill pages() does not return -EIOCBQUEUED, causing the cleanup section to execute without proper deferred execution handling.
