Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A Use-After-Free (UAF) issue exists in the driver core platform. This occurs when a driver is probed through the driver attach() function, causing the bus match callback to be called without the device lock held. Consequently, the driver override field is accessed without proper locking.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
