Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists when querying a nexthop object via RTM GETNEXTHOP. The kernel allocates a fixed-size skb (socket buffer) using NLMSG GOODSIZE, which is insufficient for large nexthop groups, such as those containing 512 nexthops. This leads to a warning splat in the rtm get nexthop() function.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
