Description In the arm64 architecture, the kernel fails to correctly handle invalid large leaf mappings. This occurs when page table entries (ptes) in the linear map are marked as invalid by clearing the PTE VALID bit, a process used for features such as secretmem, kfence, and realm DMA memory sharing. Certain parts of the code base are not equipped to process these invalid large leaf mappings, which can lead to a kernel panic during the boot process of a realm guest.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
