Description An issue exists in the vfio/xe component where certain members of xe vfio pci core device required for handling resets are only initialized during migration initialization. Consequently, attempting to issue a reset on Virtual Function (VF) devices that do not support migration leads to a kernel page fault (supervisor read access in kernel mode) within the xe sriov vfio wait flr done() function.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
