Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description On Zen1 processors, the hardware divider may retain partial results from previous operations under certain conditions. This behavior allows another attacker-controlled thread to leak these residual results. This issue is known as Floating Point Data Sampling (FPDSS), a side-channel attack where data is leaked from internal CPU buffers.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
