Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A mismatch between the hardcoded
AMDGPU VA RESERVED TRAP SIZE (8KB) and the KFD CWSR TBA TMA SIZE (defined as 2 * PAGE SIZE) can lead to a kernel crash. On systems utilizing 64K page sizes, KFD CWSR TBA TMA SIZE increases to 128KB while the reserved trap area remains at 8KB. This inconsistency causes a NULL pointer dereference when executing rocminfo or rccl unit tests.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
