VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A potential out-of-bounds read exists in the iwl mvm nd match info handler() function. The memcpy() function assumes the dynamic array notif->matches is at least as large as the number of bytes to be copied; if this is not the case, results->matches may contain unwanted data. This occurs due to insufficient validation of the packet length.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
