Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the KVM nSVM component where the VMLOAD/VMSAVE emulation code fails to consistently use vmcb01. When VMSAVE/VMLOAD is executed by an L2 guest and is not intercepted by L1, the system mistakenly uses vmcb02 instead of vmcb01 for fields controlled by these instructions.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
