Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists where a sanity check in the iris media driver skipped the stop streaming() function when an instance was in the IRIS INST ERROR state. This led to two primary regressions: buffers were not returned to the vb2 core, causing warnings due to skipped buffer completion, and failed sessions prevented proper teardown, leaving the firmware in an inconsistent state when userspace attempted to stop streaming for cleanup.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
