Description
In the fbdev component, specifically within the vt8500lcdfb driver, the
fbi->fb.screen buffer is allocated using the dma alloc coherent() function but is not properly released via dma free coherent() when an error path is triggered. This leads to a memory leak of DMA-coherent memory.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
