Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the drm/amdgpu component where the amdgpu userq wait ioctl function fails to properly validate user inputs. Providing excessively large input values can lead to an Out-Of-Memory (OOM) condition, which is a state where the system cannot allocate enough memory to perform necessary operations, potentially resulting in a denial of service.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
