Description An out-of-bounds write issue exists within Ring 3 (the privilege level where user applications run) of certain drivers. An authenticated, unprivileged local adversary can exploit this through a low-complexity attack without requiring user interaction or special internal knowledge to achieve escalation of privilege. This can lead to a high impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system.

Recommendations Update Intel(R) QAT software drivers for Windows to version 1.13 or later.
