Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the mmc core where the host->claimed bit shares a word with retune flags. This configuration leads to Read-Modify-Write (RMW) side effects in asynchronous contexts. Specifically, writes to claimed within the mmc claim host() function or retune now within the mmc mq queue rq() function can overwrite other bits during concurrent updates, resulting in spurious WARN ON(!host->claimed) triggers.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
