Description
Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) allows an attacker to trick a user with an active session into clicking a malicious HTML link. This action triggers unintended modifications within the VIOM web application without the user's knowledge. CSRF is a type of attack that forces an authenticated user to execute unwanted actions on a web application in which they are currently authenticated.
