Description
Protocol checksum validation fails for IPv6 when extension headers are present before the protocol header. The issue occurs because the system does not correctly skip these extension headers during checksum checks. The
iph->len variable already contains the necessary offset to resolve this.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
