Description A NULL pointer dereference occurs in the ishtp bus remove all clients() function during a warm reset flow. If a reset happens while clients are still being enumerated, the cl->device pointer may be NULL. Accessing the reference count variable within cl->device without a proper NULL check results in a kernel panic. This issue was discovered during multi-unit warm reboot stress cycles.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
