Description A memory leak occurs in the RDMA/mlx5 component within the UVERBS HANDLER(MLX5 IB METHOD GET DATA DIRECT SYSFS PATH) function. The function uses kobject get path() to allocate memory for the device path; however, if the path length exceeds the output buffer length, the function returns an -ENOSPC error without freeing the allocated memory.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
